INVISIBLE CLARITY is a collaborative project between Thale Fastvold and Tanja Thorjussen. Through photography and drawing the themes Genius Loci (Fastvold) and Bardo (Thorjussen) is explored. The word Bardo comes from Tibetan “Bar” meaning liminal space and “do” meaning island or source. This project describes a liminal time between death and life originating from a specific source. Genius Loci is Latin for spirit of place. In all cultures, certain places are considered to contain spirits or souls, this project has captured Genius Loci of locations in Norway and Greece.
